Effective October 4, 2010, the following policy will be effective with regard to violations found in the current and amended “MMA Guidelines”, “Sprint Standards” and “Sprint Shortcode Violations and Actions Required” document.
If a service is found to have the same compliance violation in two out of three consecutive months (for example 10/2010 and 11/2010 or 10/2010 and 12/2010), then the service will be barred from acquiring any new Sprint subscribers for a period of 3 months (“3 month penalty period”), starting within 5 business days after notification of the second compliance violation.
If a service is found to have the same compliance violation, as above, during the 3 month penalty period, then the service will be terminated and all Sprint users of the service will be unsubscribed from the program over a one month wind down period, during which Sprint subscribers will be sent a Termination MT instead of the Renewal MT.
New services from the offending content provider will be considered for activation, at the sole discretion of Sprint, for a 6 month period from the start date of the 3 month penalty period resulting from discovery of the second compliance violation.
Your Bango account manager will advise you if your service is at risk.
