Sprint have published new guidelines to make sure that compliance is maintained so their users have a clear understanding of what they are purchasing.
The following points need to be shown by the 1st December 2009:
- Display the pricing (in numerals) information in the main offer page
- Display static Terms and Conditions information in the main offer page
- Display subscription term if applicable in the main offer page
- All online advertising must have the words: “Msg&Data Rates May Apply” which needs to be displayed after the pricing information
As of the 1st January 2010:
All TV and Print ads must have the words: “Msg&Data Rates May Apply” to all media straight after the pricing information.
